SA Voices From the Field

Jun 2, 2022

This week on SA Voices From the Field we interviewed Dr. Tammy Crawford. As an undergraduate she was a member of the women's rowing club and became a volunteer coach for one year and this experience changed her entire career path. She became the volunteer coach in 1985 and within a year was hired on as the full time coach. In 1990 she became the first varsity coach of the women's rowing team and transitioned the team from a club status toa Division 1 varsity status. In 2002, she retired from coaching to pursue her PhD in higher education and has been a professor at Washington State University in the Sports Management program since 2007.
