Today’s episode of SA Voices From the Field continues our COVID-19 and Crisis Conversation series. Today we talk with two faculty guests that will speak about the disproportionate impact that the pandemic has had on communities of color. We talk with Dr. Charles H. F. Davis III who is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Education at the University of Southern California. He is also the former Chief Strategy Officer and Director of Research at the USC Race and Equity Center. Also, we talk with Dr. Russell Jeung. Dr. Jeung is Chair and Professor of Asian American Studies at San Francisco State University. Dr. Jeung is a scholar of race and religion and his most recent book is: Family Sacrifices: The World Views and Ethics of Chinese Americans.

Dr. Davis said that his essential Higher Education read is The Alchemy of Race.
